Tips for buying favors
Buy Enough: Ok, your guest list is set and you have bought 100 favors, but when your response cards come back, the guest list is at 126. Why?
There can be a number of reasons, so here we go with Uncle Harry and his girlfriend. Uncle Harry's invitation said "AND GUEST" so he thought it would be alright for his girlfriend to bring along her three grown children along with their spouses and and of course you can't leave out the kids that they each have, oh! and by the way they are teenagers and want to bring a friend with them and all the while Uncle Harry is thinking the more the marrier...
My advise as a Wedding Planner...always order more than you think you will need.
If you have extras left over here are some suggestions on how to use them:
"Small Christmas presents for the office"
"Give out as small tokens of appreciation to the mail person, paper carrier and so forth"
Real Tight Budget
Order favors in Bulk make sure it contains a set of two, three or four. Now OPEN THEM UP grab some ribbon and thank you tags and you have more than doubled your favors, use things such as coasters that fit the color or theme of your wedding reception or event.
